North Sea Transition Authority
Angus Energy has licenses from the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) to engage in activities related to oil and gas production, as well as facilitating the transition to renewable energy sources.
The NSTA oversees the management of oil and gas resources in the UK continental shelf and aims to ensure that these resources are developed responsibly while supporting the UK’s broader energy transition goals.
Angus Energy’s engagement in this process includes plans for exploration and production activities, focused on balancing traditional energy extraction with sustainable practices in alignment with regulatory guidelines.

Angus Energy can report that flare consent limits are being met due to ongoing commitment to reducing emissions consistently. A fundamental part of being a socially responsibility is providing a healthy and safe place to work for our employees, and contractors and community.

As a major industrial operator, we are a substantial taxpayer to local councils and pay significant fees to regulatory bodies in support of operations.
